The History…
St.Vincent’s Nursery was opened in the early nineties and was originally located in a disused ward of the historic St.Vincent’s Orthopaedic Hospital in Eastcote.
Over the years we grew into a successful and well respected nursery. Inspections by the local authority have always been very positive and since Ofsted have taken control of children’s nurseries, we have always enjoyed a very favourable report. Unfortunately, St.Vincent’s Orthopaedic Hospital felt they had to close in reaction to changes in the health service. Part of the St.Vincent’s Hospital site was redeveloped into a nursing home and the land St.Vincent’s Nusery stood on was returned to green belt.
At the beginning of 2006, St.Vincent’s Nursery relocated into the nearby Haydon School. It is freshly equipped throughout and our excellent reputation continues. The nursery was last inspected by OFSTED in November 2022 and we received a ‘GOOD’ rating across all areas.
