Our Staff…

All of our nursery staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent and all hold first aid certificates. They are experienced and caring, ensuring children feel secure and parents / carers feel confident in leaving their child with them.

Student nursery nurses do undertake placement at the nursery and help in all aspects of nursery activities. All students are fully supervised.
Working together:

Parents/carers permission and co-operation is sought to enable staff to keep records of each child’s development. Should parents/carers have any concerns about their child’s well-being or development, please feel free to discuss this with the staff who will make appropriate referrals if necessary.
Settling in…

Joining a group is a very big step for a small child. If you decide to place your child at St.Vincent’s Nursery, on the first visit we ask parents / carers to meet with your key person to talk about your child’s routine and needs to ensure a smooth transition from home to nursery.
