In April 2021, following another succesful inspection, St. Vincent's Nursery was awarded with a 5 Star Food Hygiene rating from the Hillingdon Food Health and Safety Team.
One of the questions that we always get asked is "what's for lunch?"
When your child is on solid food, a good variety of well balanced, nutritious food is available for your child and included in the cost of the nursery fees. All dietary needs are catered for including Halal, vegetarian, vegan, allergies and intolerancies and all food is prepared by our qualified cook.
A weekly menu is displayed in the entrance hall of the nursery.
We have the facility to blend any meals to the correct consistency for your child. All meal times are happy, relaxed occasions. The children sit at tables with their friends for lunch and tea. The older children are encouraged to help with laying the table and serving themselves.
Good eating habits and manners are encouraged at all times.
Toast and healthy cereals are provided for breakfast up to 8.30am only. A mid morning snack of fruit and milk or water is provided for 1 – 5 years. Lunch and pudding is provided to all full session children. Tea consists of a hot snack or sandwiches, fruit and a drink and a snack of breadsticks and milk at 5pm.
